‘Cook Italian’ started out as a manufactured white label brand for a range of Italian inspired food products. Our initial challenge was to create something more than just another Italian grocery brand.
However, the goal we set ourselves internally was to make ‘Cook Italian’ the Italian cooking brand.

We delivered on our internal objectives. Oakbase turned Cook Italian into a stand-alone brand that has gone on to grow arms and legs of its own. It achieved standout in a cluttered market place and took significant market share along the way. The striking Italian packaging ensured the brand stood apart from its competitors. Along with bespoke sales promotional competitions and a digital platform, the brand has become a great success.
The Italian proposition has been truly brought to life and the resulting sales are the proof of the pudding – or in the case of Cook Italian, the proof was in the pasta! (Sorry!)
