Dermikelp® has a simple proposition – it’s sensitive to skin and to the sea (which is where the nourishing kelp it contains can be found), which means it can confidently hold its own against much bigger beauty brands.

It’s a win-win formula, and we love working on it and watching as it gains real traction.

Press launch of Dermikelp in the UK – Celebrity PR launch of South African kelp-based body and hair care range.

Brand new to the UK, our campaign was to launch Dermikelp with a well-known face, who understands the importance of good quality skincare products that don’t cost the earth, takes nutrition and exercise seriously, as well as having a good work/life balance. We commissioned Coronation Street actress Catherine Tyldesley to be the face of the Dermikelp press launch, hosted at the restaurant Sexy Fish in Mayfair, which served as the perfect backdrop with its under-water theme.

Key national media, beauty bloggers and influencers were invited to afternoon sea-tea in the coral reef room resulting in extensive national and social coverage for the brand.

As a result of this successful event, Dermikelp was nominated for and won Best New Body Care Product in the Beauty Awards 2018 with OK Magazine that took place on Monday 26th November 2018, only a month after the UK launch.
